Sales Associate
Position Overview
Studio Hope Boutique is seeking a friendly, reliable, and purpose-driven Sales Associate to help create an exceptional shopping experience for every customer.
This position supports daily retail operations and customer service with some visual merchandising and inventory assistance, and the overall presentation of the boutique. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, has an eye for style and display, and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment.
This role is perfect for someone who is organized, adaptable, and enthusiastic about nonprofit work and vintage thrifting. Every interaction helps support Studio Hope’s mission and strengthens our connection with the community.

Studio Hope Charity Boutique is a nonprofit, community-centered curated thrift, vintage, and artisan store dedicated to making a difference through sustainable shopping, creativity, and hope. Our mission supports orphaned pets and people living with kidney disease.
We are more than a thrift store. We are a welcoming space where community, creativity, and purpose come together. We celebrate vintage style, the arts, and the joy of giving items a second life while helping people and pets in need.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist customers, providing outstanding customer service
• Process sales accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and inviting sales floor
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and seasonal product presentation as needed
• Receive, price, tag, and stock merchandise
• Support inventory organization and backroom operations
• Assist with in-store and community events
• Represent Studio Hope’s mission with warmth and professionalism
• Capture photos or videos for social media when needed
• Help maintain the overall appearance and brand presentation of the boutique
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and appropriate boundaries regarding personal phone use during work hours
• Work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is:
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment
• Professional with strong communication skills
• Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Passionate about giving back and supporting a nonprofit mission
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred. Experience with social media, photography, visual merchandising, crafting, or event support is a plus.

• Fundraising or nonprofit experience
• Experience with pet rescue or animal welfare
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Weekend and evening availability is required.
