Location: Studio Hope Boutique, Burbank, CA
Schedule: 20–35 hours per week, with some evenings and weekends required

Studio Hope is a nonprofit, community-centered curated thrift store dedicated to making a difference through sustainable shopping, creativity, and compassion. Our mission supports orphan pets and people navigating kidney care by turning donated, secondhand, and vintage treasures into meaningful impact.
We are more than a thrift store, we are a welcoming space where community, creativity, and purpose come together. We celebrate the arts, vintage style, and the joy of giving items a second life while helping people and pets in need.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a driven, proven organization and community leader and a social entrepreneur who thinks outside the box.  Location: Studio Hope Boutique and Some Hours At Home as Needed
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, creative, and LOYAL community-minded person to join our team. The right candidate will be organized, team-oriented, and comfortable taking direction while also bringing creative energy and a strong sense of care to the store, community and the mission of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the founder in her goals of store merchandising, community activities, special events, and outreach efforts.
• Provide friendly, welcoming customer service to all guests and volunteers.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, pricing, and merchandising donated items.
• Help share the organization’s mission with customers and community members.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven team culture that supports the founder’s vision and goals.
Qualifications and Skills
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Punctual, dependable, and professional
• Ability to maintain healthy boundaries around personal phone use during work hours
• Supports brand awareness and community growth.
• STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
• A strength for social media and visual storytelling.
• Work well in a creative environment and be flexible and open to change.
• Please provide your level of comfort using computers and social media platforms.
Bonus if you:
• know how to make jewelry,
• have a crafting skill or hobby and can teach a class or workshop.
• have been involved in pet rescue.
Schedule
• 20–35 hours per week (hourly rate depends on skill level) if have ability to fundraise and engage the community is a plus.
• Some evenings and weekends required
